We can confirm that we have processed the first batch of BTEC results.
These results will be available to download tomorrow, Friday 10 July, once the materialised views update overnight tonight, Thursday 9 July.
The results will be available through:
- odbc-link and xml-link – the date and timestamp for these results will be set to 09/07/2015 12:00:00
- web-link – from the ‘Exam Results’ screen
Please ensure the reference data you hold for BTEC subject codes is up-to-date as additional subject codes will have been added.
Two outcomes are provided:
<Qualified> The candidate has completed the qualification. The overall qualification grade and unit outcome grades are as specified in the profile.
<Unclassified> The candidate has completed the qualification but has failed to achieve the minimum required for an overall Pass grade.
Where you receive no results for an applicant, this is due to us not receiving the information from the centre of enrolment. However, later amendments may include these missing results. There will be no more than one week's delay between the receipt of results from centres by Pearson and amendments from UCAS.
Subject specific information
Each student achieving an NQF or QCF Pearson BTEC qualification receives a profile of unit grades, as well as an overall grade (or grades). Please refer to the UCAS Tariff for further details. If you have any queries, please contact the HEP Team on 01242 545 734 or at hepservicedesk@ucas.ac.uk.
If you have any outstanding queries on individual students’ results, you should contact Pearson on 0844 463 2535. Pearson will be able to confirm the latest information held.
As a reminder, we will be processing BTEC examination results and amendments on a weekly basis once provided by Pearson.
