The release includes data on the number of applications, offers, and acceptances from UK domiciled students by the following characteristics: sex, ethnic group, and area background (POLAR3, and SIMD quintile for providers in Scotland), during the 2010 to 2016 application cycles. The reports also place applicant numbers in the context of population differences, and place differences in offer rates in the context of predicted grades and courses applied to.
As usual, for provider-level releases, there is an extended preview period, during which draft versions of all the reports will be made available, in strict confidence, to each provider.
