If you missed it, the playback is available on our new entry grades webpage along with other key information.
One of the key updates we shared is that - following feedback from both providers and students - alongside the feature we will be publishing two new contextual admissions fields:
• Free text contextual admission field – an opportunity to add up to 500 words to advise students of key policies, offer-making practices or specific course requirements.
• URL link – to link to further information on your website.
Next week we will make these fields available to providers in the collection tool to start populating. However the information will not be published to students until we release our new Entry Grades feature in February. We hope that having these fields accessible in advance offers plenty of time to consider the content. To give you inspiration, we have included examples of the information students may find helpful on our entry grades webpage.
As requested by providers, the new contextual admissions fields are at the course level and can be completed in bulk by:
1 Selecting the ‘Edit course information’ option within the Bulk Course management section of the collection tool
2. Selecting 'Standard qualification requirements’.
3. Adding the Contextual Offer Information URL and/or text
4. Choosing which courses to apply the detail to, and click ‘Update courses’.
Key Date for the diary
Another key update we shared at the webinar is that we will email provider-level data during w/c 18 December to give providers 5 weeks to review the data that will fuel the new feature. We suggest sharing this date with relevant colleagues so they have time dedicated to support the review.
