Please check and update the vacancy status of your programmes

Please ensure that all training programmes to which you are no longer actively recruiting are marked as ‘No vacancies’.

There have been an increasing number of applicant queries where they have included a choice on their application and later found the training provider is not recruiting to this programme.  

Please remember that, in accordance with the terms and conditions of the UTT scheme, all applications received while your training programme is running and marked as having vacancies must be considered.  

To update your vacancies you need to follow these steps.

  • Sign in to web-link institution data. 
  • Continue to link menu.
  • Click on ‘Course and institution data’.
  • Select the 2016 intake from the drop-down menu and click on ‘UCAS Teacher Training’ (formerly GTTR).
  • Click on ‘Training programme details’.
  • Click on ‘Vacancies’.
  • Update the vacancy drop-down menu next to the programme title to ‘No vacancies’.
  • Click on ‘Update’.
