Following our email on Monday informing you of an error within the UCAS data for HESA transaction (Star J files), we have now identified a solution and are carrying out work to provide you with the correct data.
Early next week we will make a flat file available to you for only those affected applicants. This file will contain the Personal ID, Application Scheme Code and the correct UKPRN identifier against the previous institution (PREVINST).
Please note that we will not be reissuing the full Star J flat files. All other existing data within the Star J will not change and only the UKPRN field (PREVINST) will be updated.
A further update will be provided on Monday 2 March, confirming details of when the flat file will be available.
In addition to the availability of the flat file, we can also update the time stamp via the link products. To request this information please email dqa@ucas.ac.uk by close of play on Wednesday 4 March.
