Our beta offer rate calculator is now available for advisers

Advisers can use the calculator to help advise their students on their chances of receiving an offer from providers they’re considering applying to, based on their predicted A level grades.

Posted Tue 1 November 2016

The tool has been designed around adviser and student feedback, and is intended to be used during classroom activities or one-to-one information and advice sessions.

Currently, the tool focuses on A levels only and we have only included course providers where there’s enough data to give a valid result. Following the launch of the beta version, we plan to expand the calculator to include a wide range of qualifications. For more information about the tool and how it has been developed, please refer to our FAQs. If you would like access to your provider’s underlying data, you can request this from our Analysis and Research Team, by emailing arc@ucas.ac.uk.

You can now access the calculator and use the feedback button on ucas.com to shape the development of the beta tool. You can also feed back through your relationship manager.

On Friday 4 November from 14:00 to 15:00, we’re hosting a webinar where Dr Mark Corver, our Director of Analysis and Research, will be discussing:

  • why we’ve launched the offer rate calculator
  • what the offer rate calculator is
  • how it works
