What are we doing?
UCAS has developed standard and updated terms of service, to give training providers clarity about the basis on which services are supplied, and to put all training providers on an equal footing. The terms of service outline the rights and obligations of UCAS as a service provider, and of training providers as UCAS’ customers.
Why are we doing this?
We are replacing the existing terms and conditions with our standard terms of service to align UCAS Teacher Training with the other admissions services offered by UCAS.
What does it mean for me?
It is important to stress that the new terms of service make no change to the UCAS products and services that you can access. They simply standardise the basis on which services are provided.
What do I need to do and what happens next?
Access the new terms of service and our FAQs, which outline the answers to some common queries. You should read these in conjunction with your updated Admissions Guide for 2017.
As a current customer of our scheme, you are asked to read and understand the terms of service and, in particular, your rights and obligations in the contractual relationship. There is no need to sign and return the terms of service. The new terms of service will replace any existing contractual agreements from 27 September 2016.
