At the Admissions Conference in April, we received requests to create a Tariff calculator widget for use on provider websites. We have since met with some providers to discuss requirements. Following the Tariff Advisory Group (TAG) meeting in April, we are adding extra qualifications to the Tariff during May. Our aim is to provide the widget and related documentation to you by the end of June, at which time it will reflect all qualifications on the Tariff.
Introduction of the new Tariff on Course Collect for the 2017 intake
In preparation for the introduction of the new Tariff on Course Collect in November 2015, we are creating step-by-step instructions to explain the process to providers who are planning to use the new Tariff for the 2017 intake. The instructions will be published in September 2015. ‘How to update Tariff points on Course Collect’ will also be included in the upcoming Course Collect training sessions we are running.
Test window open in November 2015
The new Tariff data will be available in the UCAS test environment in November 2015 and will contain provision of the updated ABL reference data. The reference table will be based on the new Tariff qualifications list which is available on ucas.com. The test window will enable planners and other colleagues involved in HESA data returns and information management to explore the impact of the new points on related systems. Our Technical Relationship Team has briefed third party IT suppliers and the Universities and Colleges Information Systems Association (UCISA) of the upcoming changes. Please ensure you consider the impact of the new Tariff points on any offer tables or qualification conversion tables you use and maintain.
