Training providers should familiarise themselves with the guidance produced by the NCTL about recruitment controls, and how these will be communicated to you in the event that a control is applied.
In response to feedback from training providers, NCTL is publishing all recruitment updates on a single web page. While this will not replace your notification emails, it will provide you with a single point of information.
If you have applications to training programmes affected by an NCTL recruitment control that you have not made a decision on and can no longer consider, you should inform the applicant and record a withdrawal decision for these applications using a .W4 withdrawal code.
If you are unsure whether a recruitment control applies to your specific programme, you must seek clarification from the NCTL before continuing your recruitment. Please contact itt.allocations@education.gsi.gov.uk.
