Over 100 delegates attended and gave their input into a number of areas, looking at the introduction of name-blind applications and its impact on processes. The outputs reaffirmed what we already know, but it was also useful for highlighting particular areas of concern.
Next steps:
- Following steer from the UCAS Board, we will soon be publishing a short and high level report on tackling unconscious bias and our subsequent proposals.
- We will be hosting a workshop with providers at the end of April, to discuss their internal admissions processes and tasks.
