This reduces confusion, as applicant records are suspended for updates in Track whilst we process SQA results. It also ensures stability ahead of Confirmation and Clearing.
Reply swaps
- Applicants who make their initial replies on or after 21 July 2016 (seven days prior to the amended decisions deadline) do not need your permission to swap their replies.
- If applicants outside of their seven day window wish to swap their replies, we need permission from each provider involved by 18:00 on 28 July 2016.
All applicants with outstanding replies will be declined by default at 23:59:59 on 22 July 2016.

Amended decisions
28 July 2016 is the last date to make an amended decision if the applicant has not yet replied. If you have any difficulties making an amended decision please contact the HEP Team on 0344 984 1111, or at hep_team@ucas.ac.uk, by 18:00 on 28 July.
If we do not receive requests before the deadlines given above, the relevant Confirmation decisions should be made at the firm and insurance choices, dependent on whether the applicant has met their conditions.
If the applicant no longer wants a choice where they’ve been placed, they need to discuss the possibility of applying elsewhere in Clearing with the provider.
