This is being held from 11:00 – 12:00 on Wednesday 10 January — register now. During the webinar, we'll be demonstrating:
- the new statistics page in the collection tool
- how to bulk copy UCAS Undergraduate and UCAS Conservatoires courses in the collection tool
- the latest search developments
We’ll also be discussing future enhancements.
The following releases are planned for this week
- New statistics page in the collection tool, showing a comparison of postgraduate course numbers for different cycles. This is to help you identify courses that haven’t been added for subsequent years.
- Updates to search synonyms to allow a student to search with terms such as ‘PPE’ for philosophy, politics, and economics courses, and ‘child’ for courses containing ‘children’s’ or ‘children’.
Upcoming releases
- Ability to bulk copy undergraduate and conservatoire courses to a new intake, replacing UCAS’ rollover process. You’ll also be able to update the start date during the bulk copy.
- Further iterations to the statistics page in the collection tool, including adding undergraduate and conservatoire course figures.
- Ability to filter courses by vacancy status in the search tool, allowing students to see courses with vacancies.
- Ability to filter courses by qualification type, such as foundation degree, honours degree, or postgraduate degree.
Reminder: Our test, training, and development environment is available for you
Please remember to make use of our test, training, and development environment – it’s been created to allow you to use the functionality we’re developing for our new services, including testing and assigning HECoS codes for 2019 courses.
More details on using our test environments, including getting started, links to the services in them, and requesting data, can be found on the Test and training environments web page. Please contact your technology relationship manager to find out more about how to use this.
You can’t view our applicant email notifications, as they have been disabled in this environment. Therefore, you won’t be able to test the reference process, as a completed reference is not required to submit a UCAS Postgraduate application. If you’d like to see a demonstration of this functionality, please refer to our webinar from 23 August (view from 1:17).
