We are inviting representatives from the sector to join the Undergraduate Advisory Group. Ideally nominees should have a broad perspective of the HE sector, together with operational oversight of admissions. We are looking for individuals who are keen to participate and share their views on admissions decisions and practices that have implications across the sector.

Representing the voice of undergraduate admissions, the group is responsible for:

  • providing a mechanism for understanding the impact of changes implemented by UCAS and external parties in the higher education sector
  • reinforcing the understanding within UCAS of the way in which changes have an effect on processes, procedures and practices within providers
  • contributing significantly to the dialogue with UCAS to ensure the full impact of any change is articulated and assessed
  • discussing, debating and making recommendations to UCAS on wider policy and sector issues
  • ensuring UCAS is aware of the needs of the sector, and developments within it
  • reporting to UCAS through an Annual Report and involvement in the Admissions Conference
If you’re interested in being considered for this role, please email your expression of interest to groupsandforums@ucas.ac.uk no later than Friday 24 April 2015. You'll need to outline your experience, what you can bring to the role, and your reasons for wishing to join the group.
