This morning we experienced a problem with UCAS Undergraduate, UCAS Teacher Training, and UCAS Conservatoires Apply, whereby applicants and advisers were unable to sign in to these services. After investigation, it is has emerged that our third party network – Janet – is currently suffering from a denial of service (DOS) attack and they have declared this as a major incident.
We have switched off this network, re-routed our services, and they are now back up and running.
We apologise for any inconvenience this has caused.
