Following the series of UCAS Teacher Training Annual Review Meetings that took place in December 2015 and discussions that took place at those meetings, we would like to take the opportunity to clarify a few points about the application process:

  • Applicants are not prompted to express any preference when they add their choices in Apply 1. The numbering of choices in no way indicates that an applicant has placed a particular preference on any of the choices they have made.
  • When you receive an application that has been made through Apply 2 please be aware that the ‘applicant applied’ date is the date that the applicant originally made their UCAS Teacher Training application and not the date that the choice was added in Apply 2. Training providers are able to sort applications by the date the application will RBD in order to ensure all applications are considered.
