2 January - Apply 2

Apply 2 starts on 2 January 2015, for applicants who have not been placed in Apply 1, and are not holding any offers. From this date onwards, it is important for you to keep your training programme information up- to-date to ensure applicants are not applying to programmes which no longer have vacancies.

6 January - First Reject by Default (RBD)

The first 40 working day RBD will run on 6 January 2015 for any applicant who applied on 28 October. This gives you approximately four weeks from now to finalise your decisions for these applicants. Any applicant whose status is either Referred (Ref) or Interview (I) will be automatically rejected if we do not receive a decision from you. The RBD will then run daily.

What you need to do:

To make your decisions, please log in to web-link application data and select ‘Outstanding Decisions List’:

Then choose On-Demand ODL 2015:

19 January - First Decline by Default (DBD)

The first DBD will run on 19 January 2015. This means that applicants with a reply date of 19 January, who have not replied to offer(s) that have been made on their applications, will be automatically declined by us. If this happens you can give an applicant that contacts you the following advice:

  • Applicants have seven days to phone us if they want to accept any offers which have been automatically declined. The number they need to call is 0371 468 0 469

Please tell them to have their Personal ID ready so we can find their records quickly. Our normal opening hours are Monday-Friday 08:30-18:00 and calls will be charged at their standard network rate.

  • If it’s been more than seven days, they will need to negotiate with you to see if they can reapply to you in Apply 2.
