Highest Qualification Expected (HIQE) and Highest Qualification Achieved (HIQA) data fix

On Wednesday 28 October, we’ll be deploying a data fix to the Highest Qualification Expected (HIQE) and Highest Qualification Achieved (HIQA) data held on 13,484 2016 cycle applications. We need to do this as some qualification reference data was not rolled over correctly in July 2015, but has now been corrected. The impact of applying this fix is that 47,677 timestamps will be updated on data held in the ‘IVStarK’ view (EXPECTEDQUALENT3 and ATTAINEDQUALENT3 fields) in odbc-link, and the ‘getUCASApplicantsDetail’ methods (HIQA and HIQE fields) in xml-link. The codes in these fields will change from ‘X06’ to the appropriate value. Once the fix has been applied, your next import may contain more data than expected. If you have any queries please, contact the HEP Service Desk on 01242 545 734 or email hepservicedesk@ucas.ac.uk.
