HEP test environment maintenance

This week’s scheduled maintenance to the HEP1 test environment has been cancelled, however the HEP2 test environment will be unavailable.

Posted Wed 27 May 2015

This week’s scheduled maintenance to the HEP1 test environment has been cancelled, and it will available as normal. However, the HEP2 test environment will now be unavailable so we can deploy the ABL changes to BTEC and Access to HE unit grades, ahead of the planned deployment to live production environments on 5 - 7 June 2015. You can view draft manuals containing details of these changes on the Systems guides page of ucas.com.

The HEP2 test environment will therefore be unavailable from 08:00 until 18:00 (UK time) on Friday 29 May 2015.

We will also be deploying a new security certificate to the xml-link instance in the HEP test environments. This was originally planned to take place on Friday 22 May but was postponed. The rescheduled deployment will take place at 17:00 (UK time) on Friday 29 May, with a view to deploy into the live production environment on Friday 5 June 2015.

Following their deployments, you will need to reinstall these certificates to ensure continuation of your connection to xml-link services.
