Entry Profiles are seen by potential applicants in the UCAS Teacher Training search tool, and provide specific information about training programmes, and the training provider offering them.
Training programmes vary considerably between training providers, and this can make the training experience very different for the student. Entry Profiles give providers the chance to explain all aspects of the programme, such as entry qualifications, placements, and assessments, so that applicants can compare programmes and choose the right ones for them. This, in turn, will benefit providers by, for example, reducing time spent asking for missing qualification details, wasted interviews, and even increased retention rates once they start.
Your Entry Profiles can be descriptive text or even a link to information on your website. You can find guidance on how to set up your Entry Profiles on our website.
