Unfortunately, we did receive reports of breaches and near-misses, and would encourage all providers in ensuring your final checks are in place before the start of the JCQ Results Embargo at 14:00 on Friday 11 August.
The incidents dealt with under the SQA Results Embargo related to communications sent by Provider Marketing and Student Services teams. We would encourage you to remind colleagues that information sent to Conditional Offer holders during the embargo period relating to freshers’ activities, course information or support services constitutes a breach of the embargo, as an applicant could infer that this communication has been sent as a consequence of receiving results.
