Wednesday 2 November:
We will be updating UKPRN values where the PREVINST field in previous deliveries of this dataset was set to 9999 (not known). This will affect approx. 250 values. Services will be unaffected while this work takes place.
Saturday 5 November:
We will be deploying a change to make SOC2020 data available in the data set (see UCAS.com for details). The work will take place between 08:00 and 18:00 on 5 November and during this time the following services will be unavailable:
- Web-Link
- XML-Link
- ODBC-Link
- We will be advising applicants not make changes to their application while the work takes place
Monday 7 November:
We will be removing 2021 data for HESA statutory returns (Star J). If you require this data please ensure it has been downloaded before this date.

2022 cycle test data – including extra statistical data (Star X )
We will be generating extra statistical data (Star X) for all applications in the test environments as follows:
HEP1: Friday 4 November (timestamp will be 04-NOV-2022 10:00)
HEP2: Friday 11 November (timestamp TBC)
As per the previous cycle, we will be generating this data for all HE providers. If you want to opt-out of receiving this data, please contact the Service Delivery Management (Technical) team at sdmtech@ucas.ac.uk, if you haven’t already done so. Please make it clear which environment(s) you do not want the data generated in.
