If you become aware of a security incident you must raise this with UCAS as soon as possible. This can be done by:
- reporting via our self-service portal
- informing your Service Delivery Manager (Technical)
- contact the Customer Success Team on 0344 984 1111 or cst@ucas.ac.uk
In the event of a cyber security incident, we will need to disable your access to UCAS digital services including, UCAS.com/Provider Dashboard, link products, MOVEit and the Adviser Portal (if applicable).
Once a security incident has been resolved we will move to restore any access that was removed, as quickly as possible, before this can begin, we require for the senior responsible person at the affected organisation to send us confirmation from their third party security response partner (containing the appropriate branding/signatures), to advise that their estate is now secured.
Please ensure you have updated your business continuity contacts. This will only be used if other channels are unavailable. This person must be who we should contact to discuss measures taken regarding access to UCAS systems resulting from the incident. We need an alternative email address to your regular provider email and a mobile number – click here to add this information.
