Criminal convictions good practice virtual engagement session

In 2018, following the introduction of GDPR, UCAS made changes to the information it collects regarding applicant criminal convictions.

To support universities and colleges understanding this change, and to inform institution’s own policy development, we released a range of good practice resources. These can be found here.

We're looking for feedback regarding the use of this good practice, and the practices universities and colleges have employed since the changes to the collection of criminal conviction information, in order to inform an update to this good practice guidance. We’d also like to share examples of good practice employed by specific institutions.

Kim Eccleston (Head of Strategy and Reform), Ben Jordan (Head of Policy) and Carly McGahey (Information Governance Manager) will be hosting an engagement session on Monday 27 February at 10:00 to discuss this, and would like to invite you to join and contribute to the conversation.
