Contact details reminder

Earlier this year we made some changes to where we hold your Fraud Correspondent contact information, this information is now held in our CRM system.

We have amended the purpose of this role and created a new contact role, which will allow you more flexibility in who receives our communications.

If you would like to add or change the details for your Fraud Correspondent and Similarity Contact, please let the Verification Team know. The details of each contact role are below:

  • Fraud Correspondent – point of contact for the Verification Team to inform you of any potentially fraudulent applications. You can now have more than one Fraud Correspondent.
  • Similarity Contact – to receive similarity detection alerts, where similarity has been found in an applicant’s personal statement. You can have more than one Similarity Contact. This can be the same person, or someone different, to the Fraud Correspondent.

For further information on the Verification Team, there is an introductory module available online here for providers to complete. The module will: 

  • explain how the Verification Team works
  • detail examples of fraudulent documents
  • describe the potential outcomes of the fraudulent cases.
