It will list applicants who accepted a conditional offer from you, and for whom we are still awaiting your Confirmation decision. Please check the ODL and send us these decisions as soon as possible.
You can find details about making Confirmation decisions in Section 8 of the UCAS Admissions Guide 2017.
Reject by default (RBD)
Applications which have not received decisions by 18:00 on 11 September 2017 will be rejected by default. We will tell applicants they have been given a reject by default decision.
Stopping the RBD
If you wish to delay making a decision against a conditional firm (CF) or conditional insurance (CI) applicant whose results you don't yet have, but expect to receive between 11 September RBD and 23 October RBD, you must record an RBD Stop by 18:00 on 11 September to prevent them being rejected by default.
The RBD Stop facility will be available from 1 September until 18:00 on 11 September 2017.
You should only use an RBD Stop if you expect to receive results before the end of the cycle, and need more time to decide whether to accept the applicant.
The facility is only available through web-link. To put an RBD Stop on an applicant choice:
- Select the decision box against the choice.
- Select RBD Stop in the drop-down menu, and click Save.
The decision displayed against the applicant choice will be C STP.
These applicants will be rejected by default on 23 October 2017 if you don’t make a Confirmation decision by then. A management information list is available to view these applicants.
