1. I need to unpick a Confirmation decision made in error – can you help?
This year, for the first time, our HEP Team can help correct Confirmation decisions you’ve made in error, during the embargo period. Requests can be made between 14:00 on 10 August and 08:00 on 15 August.
It’s important you make every effort to ensure Confirmation errors do not happen. However, if an error occurs, before you contact the HEP Team, you should:
- identify all applicants affected by the error
- contact all providers who are affected by the unpicking (e.g. applicant subsequently placed at insurance because of the error)
- ensure the error has not resulted in an embargo breach – if it has, please notify our dedicated team straightaway on 01242 545 718, or at embargobreach@ucas.ac.uk
Although our HEP Team is here to help unpick errors, you are responsible for recording the correct decision.
2. Can you help me make a reply swap?
The deadline for applicants to make reply swaps, and for you to amend decisions, was Thursday 19 July. This means our HEP Team is no longer able to support you with this.
3. I’ve locked my web-link account, what do I need to do?
As you’ll know, web-link is one of our key services used by providers – especially over C&C. If your account has been locked, or you’ve forgotten your sign in details, please raise a ticket via our ServiceNow portal, or contact our HEP Team.
