Clearing referrals reminder

Our Customer Contact Centre has been contacted by several applicants who’ve been advised by providers to refer themselves in Clearing, so the provider can view their application before making an offer. We’d like to remind you that you can access details of any applicant eligible for Clearing by entering their Personal ID in the link products, without the need for referral.

Our Customer Contact Centre has been contacted by several applicants who’ve been advised by providers to refer themselves in Clearing, so the provider can view their application before making an offer. We’d like to remind you that you can access details of any applicant eligible for Clearing by entering their Personal ID in the link products, without the need for referral.

Our advice to applicants is to only add a Clearing choice in Track if they’ve been made a provisional offer they wish to accept. If an applicant adds a Clearing choice without being made an offer, this can put them at a disadvantage, as they cannot then share their details with multiple providers before making a fully informed decision about where they want to go.
