The workshop covers the implications for applicants in making informed and timely decisions, and for providers it covers the importance of making clear, transparent and appropriate offers.
By the end of the session you will:
- have a greater awareness of the role and function of coding, academic and non-academic conditions and UCAS business rules
- be able to explain the purpose of offer making and its implications for both your provider and your applicants
- be able to evaluate offers and describe what makes a 'good offer'
- understand the coding system used to make offers
- understand how we send offers to applicants
- understand the potential implications of mistakes made in the offer making process
- be able to discuss good practice guidelines
