We have used such email alerts for several years, but this year the message will be enhanced because, where applicants are placed, the email will include reference to the course and provider they are placed at. On SQA and JCQ results days applicants will be emailed with their confirmation status, including the course and provider for those who are placed, shortly after the UCAS Application goes live.

From this week, UCAS will be emailing applicants who receive their results to alert them to their updated application status.
