Booking is now open for our Annual Admissions Conference, providing a unique opportunity for us to come together to discuss, explore and better understand the context in which we are operating.

The overarching theme of this year’s conference is 'Managing admissions in a changing and competitive market'. The external environment in which the sector operates will continue to see development and change, with the lifting of student number controls in England, continued strong demand for higher education, qualification reform, and increasingly competitive student recruitment behaviour, amongst the challenges on the horizon. Against this backdrop is the challenge to continue to provide a fair and transparent admissions system for learners.

Focusing on this theme, we look forward to plenaries sessions from:

  • Professor Sir Steve Smith, Vice Chancellor and Chief Executive, University of Exeter and Chair, UCAS Board of Trustees
  • Dr Mark Corver, Director of Analysis and Research, UCAS
  • Professor Alan Speight, Pro-Vice Chancellor for Student Experience and Academic Quality Enhancement, Swansea University

This three-day event includes 41 break-out sessions and five plenary sessions, plus a discussion panel on qualification reform across the UK. There will also be more opportunities for questions and answers, and discussions on the keys areas of importance to you.

Who should attend? This event is for HE or FE professionals, working in admissions (home and international), recruitment or marketing.
