Adjustment provides an opportunity for those who meet and exceed the conditions of their firm choice, to reconsider where and what to study. Applicants can look for a course at a different provider while still holding their confirmed place. Those who register for Adjustment, but don’t find an alternative course, remain placed at their original firm choice provider.
To help applicants, please state on your website:
- if you will consider applicants in Adjustment (there are no Adjustment vacancy lists)
- if applicants who accept places in Adjustment will be allocated accommodation, and if they’ll be entitled to apply for bursaries or scholarships
You must also check an applicant's eligibility – there's information about what you need to do in Section 9 of the UCAS Admissions Guide (page 45).
