New Provider page features

We're excited to announce two new Provider Page features to help providers engage more deeply with two important audiences: students who need support to access higher education and international students.

New Student Support Tab

UCAS research has found that students who need support to access higher education often struggle to find the information they need to make informed decisions.

To help providers reach students from widening access and participation groups and showcase their support, we have added a new ‘Student Support’ tab to your institution’s page on ucas.com where you can enter information about support services and packages.

This new tab appears alongside existing tabs: ‘About Us’, ‘Stats’, ‘Student Life’ and ‘Courses’.

In our experience students are often unaware that they can get support for their specific circumstances unless they are explicitly mentioned, so we recommend providing as comprehensive a list as possible about the circumstances you can support, with links to your pages.

View an example of the content you might want to include here - however, this is only a guide so please don't feel you need to mirror it.

New International tab

To help higher education providers better engage with prospective international students, and to improve the experience of prospective international students looking for crucial information about potential study options, UCAS has created a new International Students tab on your Provider Page.

This page presents an opportunity for you to highlight what makes your institution special, share more about the support and services you have for international students related to both academic study and student life, and provide information and links to help them make informed decisions when making their intended university, college, or conservatoire selection.

To make setting up this page as easy as possible, we have copied your introductory content from the former UCAS International app to the International Students tab on your Provider Page. We recommend you review the content on your new International tab to ensure it is still up-to-date and accurate. There is a 4000-character limit (including spaces).

What to do next

  • Contact the content editor at your institution responsible for your UCAS Provider Page with the latest copy for your new tabs, including hyperlinks to your own web pages.
  • Ensure your webpages are up-to-date and as specific as possible about the support you offer, with contact details should students require more information or to ask questions.
  • If you have any queries, email coursesdata@ucas.ac.uk or call us on 01242 544864.

We hope you find the new Student Support and International Students tabs beneficial for engaging more deeply with these two important audiences.
