Megan is Head of Access Programmes and Engagement at the University of Sheffield, establishing and implementing a wide range of widening access interventions to help address the barriers experienced by students who are underrepresented in higher education. Her role has a particular focus on building impactful and evidence-led curricula, collaborating with the service's educational partners and engaging colleagues across the institution in widening access policy and practices.
Prior to working in the Access Service at Sheffield, Megan spent time in UK Student Recruitment, delivering advice and guidance sessions to students across the midlands, improving their understanding of the university application process and supporting their transition to higher education.
