Jo has over 30 years' experience in the education sector having worked in both HE and FE in a variety of roles. She joined Manchester Met as an Apprenticeship Development Manager in 2016 and has been Head of Apprenticeship Business Development since 2018. In this role, Jo has played a significant role in growing the number of apprentices and employer partners to over 680, as well as expanding apprenticeship programme delivery across all faculties within the University.
Jo is passionate about apprenticeships and the opportunities they bring to improve social mobility and participation from those who would not otherwise have been able to access higher education. One of her proudest moments was her graduation last year, when she graduated from the MBA Senior Leader Degree Apprenticeship.
