Lisa has over 25 years’ experience in education delivery, spanning early years to postgraduate provision across local, regional and national programmes. As Education Outreach Lead at the Met Office, she works closely with staff across the organisation, enabling the wide range of job roles and career pathways within the Met Office and broader Civil Service to be effectively showcased to young people. She has established a network of partner schools and colleges, to inform Met Office Education Outreach developments, and manages relationships with a number of external delivery partners, to maximise reach and impact. Having started out studying orangutans for 10 years, along the way Lisa has also taught statistics and psychology, headed up a sustainable energy department, managed business development for a software start-up, and worked as a freelance speaker and writer.
