Helen Hall is UK Recruitment and Admissions Director at Oxford Brookes University. She is the University’s strategic lead on the recruitment of UK students, including work to diversify the university’s student body through sustainable and inclusive future student demand. This includes a significant focus on addressing barriers to access to HE, through the delivery of long term partnerships with schools and sustained outreach programmes for pre-16 and post-16 learners. Helen also leads the Admissions team and since taking over leadership of the team in 2019, has led a programme of reform to build capacity, transparency and inclusivity within the University’s admissions process. In her previous role as Head of UK Partnerships and Apprenticeships, Helen led on the implementation of degree apprenticeships at Oxford Brookes, alongside management of the University’s UK educational partnerships which provide access to Oxford Brookes qualifications to students in their local area.
Helen is a member of the Oxfordshire Inclusive Economy Partnership (OIEP) Educational Attainment Working Group. The OIEP works together to create a more equal and sustainable region that creates opportunities and benefits for all people within the county. She is also a founding member of the AQA HE Advisory Group and a member of the APP Special Interest Group. Helen also represents Oxford Brookes on the Board of the Study Higher UniConnect partnership - an OfS funded collaborative outreach programme led by Oxford Brookes as a partnership with University of Oxford, University of Reading and Bucks New University.
