Forthcoming UCAS and Gatsby Charitable Foundation research on Level 4 and 5 applicants explores their motivations, experiences, destinations and future aspirations as they access Higher Education via an underused and often overlooked route. Mindful of the influence advisers can have on supporting young people to discover and consider pathways that are not a degree, UCAS will share that we know about these applicants and the discuss ideas for the tailored support they might need. Interactive case studies from a provider, including on Higher Technical Qualifications (HTQs), will bring this to life and myth bust common misconceptions.
