The marine sector is a major growth industry in the Scottish economy. Our courses can give you access to a career at sea or improve the skills you have to make you more competent on and around boats. Our courses are based in our centre in Mallaig - and the team there will support you every step of the way. All of our trainers are currently employed in maritime industries and include a RNLI trainer, Merchant Navy captain and Master Mariner as well as ex fishing skippers who are happy to pass on generations of inherited knowledge and experience alongside the RYA syllabus.
