Taster sessions are a great way to experience a course, as well as providing an opportunity to visit a university and experience student life to support your transition to university. They are also useful to reflect on as part of your personal statement.

This event introduces you to the areas of sociology we focus on at City such as sociology and sociology with psychology.
On our BSc Sociology course, you will have the opportunity to appreciate the complex interplay between local and global forces, with particular reference to life in the 21st century metropolis, which - in our case - is London.
We'll also give you a taste of how we teach our students to 'do' sociology - that is, learning how to apply sociological concepts to everyday issues.
We'll give you some insight on what you can do with a Sociology degree.
