Jo is the Head of Apprenticeship Business Development at Manchester Met and has over 30 years’ experience working in the education sector. Having worked in both HE and FE settings, Jo has extensive experience of apprenticeships and heads up the business development team with overall responsibility for employer engagement, account management and compliance.
Jo is an expert in Degree Apprenticeships, regularly advising on policy and funding developments, and has been instrumental in growing the University’s employer partnerships, ensuring the University continues to meet its apprenticeship recruitment targets. In addition, Jo leads on procurement, sub-contracting, end-point assessment and new curriculum development and represents the University on trailblazer groups and other sector bodies such as AELP and UVAC.
