Biography
Sarah is a Professor of Criminology & the Dean of Apprenticeships at Northumbria University. She has thirty years of experience in higher education, much of which has been focused on applied, work based learning. At Northumbria University she has led the apprenticeship portfolio for the last four years, prior to which she was the Associate Pro Vice Chancellor for Teaching and Learning. In her current role she leads a broad portfolio of programmes, with over two thousand apprentices, four hundred employers supporting the Construction & Built Environment, Health, Leadership and Police sectors.
