Claire joined Qualifications Wales in September 2019 as Head of Strategic Engagement. With 20 years of experience of working in business, the public sector and for a Further Education charity for six years, Claire was ready to delve deeper into working in qualifications.=
Passionate about working in partnership, Claire leads on developing relationships to build stakeholder confidence in qualifications and the qualifications system in Wales. With the increased focus on stakeholder engagement and co-construction the team have been innovative in approach and introduced a new engagement digital platform to host all consultation and engagement activity. The new platform further supports all the physical engagement activity with learners and centres across Wales.=
Claire studied at Sheffield Hallam University and Swansea University and speaks Welsh and Japanese.
