Nick joined the University of Birmingham as Director of Admissions in June 2020 where he oversees the team handling c. 130,000 applications p.a. to all levels of study for the University’s campuses in Birmingham and Dubai. Prior to joining Birmingham, Nick worked at the University of Southampton for seven years as Head of Admissions and the Student Visa team, and prior to that held a number of roles at the University of Warwick including in enrolment and student record management, graduation, planning, and postgraduate admissions. At Birmingham, Nick is currently co-leading a major transformation programme focussing on enhancing the University’s student marketing, recruitment and admissions functions and how the latest technology can help to improve the applicant experience and demystify the application process.
