Summary

Is a place at Oxbridge still the ultimate goal for students? While attending Oxbridge; a Russell Group or other selective university has traditionally been considered the pinnacle of success - our definition of "success" is expanding, in relation to the post-18 pathways students can take. In this climate where factors beyond university are major contributing factors to the move into employment after education and 31% of all graduate roles are going to students who have already completed work experience with the employer, options including degree apprenticeships are increasingly appealing. In this panel discussion, we will be exploring some exciting pathways students have chosen and discussing why a selective university isn't always the best option.
