This lecture will offer an introduction to the study of international politics through some popular culture reference points. We will take this approach in order to demonstrate how international politics is already implicated in our lives and thought processes. The lecture will begin by considering how early 21st-century popular culture registered new political developments such as the War on Terror before examining how culture has been historically used by global powers.
This will be a 30-minute lecture delivered in English and will be followed by a 30-minute live Q&A session where you will be able to ask any questions you may have about our International Politics programmes in Paris.
Please note that if you are joining us from the UK, the event will take place at 5:00 pm GMT. You will need to register ahead on our online platform to access the course.
