Higher education institutions are increasingly showing their commitment to widening access through a number of programmes and initiatives, including financial support the use of contextual data and target support for specific groups of students under represented at university, such as those that are estranged from their families or have experience of local authority care.
This session will aim to highlight the different types of support in place for students, ensuring that advisors are aware of these, which of their students may be able to benefit from these and how they can help their own students navigate some of these opportunities as part of their application to university.
