Disruption to in-person teaching presents particular challenges to independent research-based qualifications such as the EPQ. In this session the EPQ support team at the University of Southampton will offer advice drawn from their experience working with teachers delivering the EPQ remotely in 2020. Delegates will be introduced to tools and guidance relating to remote delivery of the taught element, strategies for remote supervision, and advice on how to direct students towards high-quality but accessible sources in the event that students are limited in their ability to travel. Delegates will deepen their knowledge of how to respond to further disruption to teaching during this and future EPQ cohorts.
