Harvey Church is a 3rd year Broadcast Engineering apprentice at the BBC with a real passion for the media industry. He is undertaking a BEng with Birmingham City University in Broadcast and Communications Engineering. With placements at Digital UK (now Everyone TV), World Service Distribution, and Outside Broadcasts under his belt, he's gained experience on some of the biggest events in the UK, including the Proms, the Jubilee, Glastonbury, and Radio 1's Big Weekend.
Harvey is a founding member of the BBC Technology & Product Group Trainees network and is also an active member of the Institute for Apprentices and Technical Education's Apprentice Panel, where he's helping to push forward a review based on the recent apprentice survey. He's also a member of UCAS' English Policy Forum, providing insight alongside another apprentice as part of UCAS’ wider consultation work.
Harvey is also the host of the "Foot on the Ladder" careers podcast, where he interviews people from all walks of life to share their career journeys and offer advice to other aspiring professionals.
