JCQ has announced a change to their examination results embargo – from August 2020 the results embargo will lift at 08:00 on JCQ/A level results day (previously 06:00).
This follows discussions between JCQ, DfE, UCAS, qualification regulators around the UK, SFFA, and colleagues from the secondary and higher education sectors where it was decided that, to support students who may need advice, the lifting of the JCQ results embargo should align for schools, universities and colleges, and the opening of UCAS systems. The time change brings this all into alignment, and has been implemented to ensure students’ wellbeing at a key point in their application journey.
In this hands-on workshop, we will consider how the time change may impact business processes and the steps we all need to take to ensure we uphold the results embargo.
