Summary

A knowledge-sharing, interactive session to share experiential and best practice to:

  • enhance the understanding of diagnostic assessment methods when considering applications to higher and degree apprenticeship programmes
  • provide best practice solutions to support employers to maximise an apprentice’s experience of managing higher level education and work responsibilities

The session will form a panel-led, open floor discussion to:

  • share an understanding of the level of support needed to strategically plan, embed, and deliver effective apprenticeship programmes in line with QAA best practice
  • address identified challenges from an admission’s team perspective in the assessment of vocational qualifications as entry requirements for higher and degree apprenticeship programmes (including progression of L2 and 3 applicants and new trailblazer T Levels)

The panel members represent HE college and university partners, and employer representatives with significant experience of strategic planning and delivery of successful apprenticeship programmes.
