A knowledge-sharing, interactive session to share experiential and best practice to:
- enhance the understanding of diagnostic assessment methods when considering applications to higher and degree apprenticeship programmes
- provide best practice solutions to support employers to maximise an apprentice’s experience of managing higher level education and work responsibilities
The session will form a panel-led, open floor discussion to:
- share an understanding of the level of support needed to strategically plan, embed, and deliver effective apprenticeship programmes in line with QAA best practice
- address identified challenges from an admission’s team perspective in the assessment of vocational qualifications as entry requirements for higher and degree apprenticeship programmes (including progression of L2 and 3 applicants and new trailblazer T Levels)
The panel members represent HE college and university partners, and employer representatives with significant experience of strategic planning and delivery of successful apprenticeship programmes.
